We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audit Manager to join our team in Norfolk County, MA. The ideal candidate will have a CPA designation and a minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting. The role will involve working with a diverse client base, including closely held businesses, high net worth individuals, employee benefit plans, and non-profits. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in auditing and financial reporting who is looking to take the next step in their career.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and preparation of financial statements, notes, schedules, and management letters.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, GAAS, SSARS, Attest Standards, and have a working knowledge of the IRS Tax Code.
  • Utilize software tools such as QuickBooks, Pro System FX Engagement, ACL, and Lacerte Tax Software for efficient workflow management.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional client service and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices within the firm.

Qualifications:

  • CPA designation is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on auditing.
  • Experience working with closely held businesses, high net worth individuals, employee benefit plans, and non-profits.
  • Strong understanding of auditing standards and regulations.
  • Proficiency in software tools such as QuickBooks, Pro System FX Engagement, ACL, and Lacerte Tax Software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and a desire for career growth.

Location: Primarily Onsite in Norfolk County with flexible hybrid

Compensation: The compensation range for this position is $75,000 to $175,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
